Local tab → bounded evidence
Inspect onsets and annotations
The text enters only bounded private application memory and is not saved. Columns establish reading order and possible simultaneity; dashes never establish duration.
Understand and transform written music
Inspect parser evidence, compare versions, transpose chord sheets, or re-finger numeric tab. Uncertain or lossy operations are identified or refused.
Tab evidence
Inspect pitches at one recognized onset, add only supportable annotation rows, render a stable snippet, or separate textual changes from musical-event changes.
Local tab → bounded evidence
The text enters only bounded private application memory and is not saved. Columns establish reading order and possible simultaneity; dashes never establish duration.
Text diff ≠ event diff
Reviewable transformations
Transpose symbols and charts, plan familiar capo shapes, or re-finger a numeric tab. Results state what was preserved and expose a before/after diff.
Symbol + distance → symbol
Shape ↔ sound
Plaintext → reviewable plaintext
Bracketed chords are explicit. Unbracketed text changes only on rows containing at least two chord-only tokens, so a lyric such as “A” is not silently rewritten.
Exact pitches → playable positions
Paste text or choose a local plaintext file. The file name stays in your browser; only its text enters bounded private application memory. Technique marks and repaired alignment are refused because a normalized event renderer cannot preserve them honestly.
